📝 Answer:

The bleeding and purity (tuh’r) has been in the following sequence before pregnancy:

29 December to 6 January, a total of 8 days of period.

20 days of purity (tuh’r)

26 January to 2 February, a total of 7 days of period.

Pregnancy

Date of delivery: 23 October

The bleeding and purity (tuh’r) has been in the following sequence after delivery:

23 October to 10 December, a total of 48 days of blood.

➖➖➖➖

✍️ Solution:

♦️ 23 October to 2 December, a total of 40 days of post-natal bleeding.

🔸 2 December to 10 December, a total of 8 days of definitive purity (istehadha).

▪ If you performed ghusl on 2 December, salah after it are all valid. If you didn't, then make qada of all the salah until you took ghusl.

▪ If you left any salah thinking of it as haidh and it turned out to be istehadha, then make qada of them.

➖➖➖➖

8 days of istehadha + 20 days of purity (tuh’r) = 28 days of invalid purity (tuh'r-e-faasid).

30 December to 1 January, a total of 2 days of blood.

❄ Habit: Nifas : 40 days, Haidh : 7 days, Purity (Tuh’r): 20 days

You are in the days of your period right now, so, if bleeding continues you cannot do any of your ritual worship.

If bleeding stops before 2 January (3 days), and is followed by a 15 day or more period of purity, then all of this will become istehadha.

If the questioner is married, then she should keep this in mind as well:

Even if the bleeding stops and she performs ghusl and resumes salah, intimacy with husband remains prohibited till 6 January.

If bleeding continues after 9 January (10 days), or stops, but starts again with gaps of less than 15 days, then please ask the masla again.

If the bleeding stops before 6 January then take ghusl immediately and start saying your prayers but take ghusl on 6 January too to be on the safe side.

Kindly, keep note of the bleeding/spotting with month, date and time.

And Allah Ta’ala knows best.
